snap stall
When a plane’s wing loses lift because it is not flying fast enough, the plane stalls. Trainers almost always just drop the nose during the stall. More advanced aerobatic planes however, may quickly drop a wing tip towards the ground as the nose falls rapidly. Sometimes this happens so fast that the plane rotates (snaps) into a spin and heads for the ground fully stalled. Not a good thing.
